The Northwest Commission serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Center for Trade Development.  The CTD consists of a team of international economic specialists that contribute to the growth and strength of the Commonwealth's economy through the promotion of Pennsylvania businesses in the international marketplace.  To access the CTD website click here.

The Northwest Commission also has an International Marketing Program outreach office in Erie County with staff located in the Erie Regional Chamber.  This is a cooperative venture between the County of Erie, the Erie Regional Chamber, and the Northwest Commission.  In addition, the Northwest Commission has a trade specialist located on a part-time basis in Mercer County, in partnership with the Penn-Northwest Development Corporation.

Northwest PA Export Compliance Center

Welcome to the Northwest Commission's new virtual Export Compliance Center!  Are you currently exporting and you believe you may need an export license, but you are not certain who to turn to?  Help is just a mouse click away!  The Northwest Commission contracted with Associated Global Systems, N.Y. to provide non-bureaucratic and immediate export licensing counseling by specialists in their field.  Contact exportcompliance@nwcommission.org and a specialist will be available to address your questions.  All services will be performed by qualified, efficient, and discreet employees in strict accordance with the  recognized best practices.  Support via phone, fax, email is free of charge and offset by funding of the Northwest Commission.  Face-to-face counseling or training sessions will be quoted separately.
